Come and enjoy a peaceful farm animal encounter at Hanhenlento, where you can meet our friendly animals in their own home environment. This relaxing and family-friendly experience gives you the opportunity to get close to the animals, learn about their lives and take part in caring for them.
Meet Llamas, Reindeer, Donkey, Goats and Other Farm Animals
During the animal encounter, you will meet some of Hanhenlento’s much-loved residents. Our animals include llamas, a donkey, miniature pigs, reindeer, rabbits, goats, sheep and various birds – and every animal has its own name and personality.
The hostess will stay with you throughout the visit, introducing the animals and sharing stories about life with them.
Depending on the animals, season and situation, you may have an opportunity to:
pet and scratch the animals
brush and care for them
feed selected animals
visit selected pens or stalls
spend peaceful time getting to know the animals
The activities always take place under the guidance of your host and with the animals’ well-being in mind.
A Relaxing Animal Experience for the Whole Family
Spending time with calm and friendly animals can be a wonderfully relaxing experience. Gently brushing wool, stroking an animal or simply spending time beside them creates a peaceful moment away from everyday routines.
Children are warmly welcome to participate with the assistance of a parent or a Hanhenlento host.
Before meeting the animals, you will receive instructions on how to approach and handle them safely. This helps ensure a comfortable and safe experience for both visitors and animals.
What Is Included?
The 1.5-hour farm animal experience includes:
an introduction to Hanhenlento’s animals
stories about the animals and life at the farm
a guided animal care session
time for petting and interacting with selected animals
guided access to selected animal pens or stalls
The exact animals you can meet and activities you can participate in may vary depending on the animals and the situation at the time of your visit.

Price:
€48 for 1–4 people
Additional participants €12 per person
Please book your animal encounter at least two days in advance.
What to Wear
The animal encounter takes place in the animals’ own environment, so we recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing and footwear that is easy to clean.
To help protect the health of our animals, we kindly ask that you do not visit Hanhenlento in the same clothing and footwear that you have recently worn at another petting farm or animal facility.
Complete Your Visit with a Picnic
After your animal encounter, you can also purchase small snacks for a self-service picnic or, for example, enjoy grilling sausages.
